Sheikh Hamdan visits Area 2071
Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, said that DFF has managed to present a successful model to the world in term of innovation, through launching and supporting innovative and creative ideas.
His Highness’s remarks come as he visited Area 2071 at Emirates Towers in Dubai, where he reviewed a number of projects presented by a number of government entities, as part of the Dubai 10X initiative.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future, and Vice Chairman of Board of Trustees of DFF Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi; and Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Deputy Managing Director of DFF H.E. Omar Al Olama, and CEO of DFF Khalfan Juma Belhoul.
“Developing government work in Dubai starts for preparing the foundation of innovation and collaboration between government entities. Speeding up these process is the core of the Dubai 10X objectives,” His Highness said. “We are determined to become a world pioneer in designing services that stimulate the future and meet people’s needs with the highest efficiency. Dubai will be the center of launching creative ideas never seen before.”
“Our journey towards the future doesn’t know the impossible. We want Dubai to be a destination of creative minds and a source of futuristic ideas,” His Highness said.
During the visit, His Highness approved 16 projects out of 45 aimed to develop government services in Dubai as part of the 10X initiative. His Highness also launched a platform to follow up the implementation of the initiative, where His Highness will follow up the initiative’s projects through the platform, where he directed the government entities to implement these projects within 24 months.
