Episode 13
This week Twenty Something is all about the movies. We’re celebrating the 7th Annual Dubai International Film Festival with a special episode all about the most exciting emerging talent in the region. Producer, Butheina Kazim, joins us in the studio to talk about her documentary film Letters to Palestine in which everyday Arabs send messages to everyday Palestinians living under occupation. Jordanian director is back to tell us about the success of his film about growing up and returning home, Transit Cities. And Emirati, Abdullah Alkaabi just made his first short film; it stars Jean Reno! Plus DIFF volunteers and student film makers tell us about working at the festival.
And we’ve got trailers from the movies we most want to see.
