Guardians Of The Galaxy Stars Defend James Gunn
Some Hollywood celebrities have come to James Gunn's defence after getting fired by Walt Disney due to a controversial tweet.
It was a joke about paedophilia and molestation allegedly posted years ago.
Actress Selma Blair encouraged her followers to sign a petition to urge Walt Disney to re-hire Gunn.
"Because if people are punished despite changing, then what does that teach people about owning mistakes and evolving?" she tweeted. "This man is one of the good ones."
As of Monday, nearly 200,000 people had signed the petition.
Stars of Guardians of The Galaxy voice out their support and love for their director.
Chris Pratt quotes a verse from the Bible to express his thoughts concerning the issue.
“Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters. Let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.”

Zoe Saldana conveys her love for the entire cast of GOTG, Gunn included.
It’s been a challenging weekend I’m not gonna lie. I’m pausing myself to take everything in before I speak out of term. I just want everyone to know I love ALL members of my GOTG family. Always will.

Dave Bautista ( Drax the Destroyer ) has since been defending Gunn.
I will have more to say but for right now all I will say is this..@JamesGunn is one of the most loving, caring, good natured people I have ever met. He’s gentle and kind and cares deeply for people and animals. He’s made mistakes. We all have. Im NOT ok with what’s happening to him
