Google Earth Alphabet – Dubai
Patrick Semaan shared a video on Vimeo showing every letter of the alphabet in Dubai from space, using Google Earth.
It took him six months to complete said video but helped him to get familiar with the layout of the city after moving to Dubai.
According to Semaan a bird’s eye view is the best way for him to understand the urban planning and road systems which help to know his way quickly.
His love of typography, geography and architecture resulted in this project which required curiosity, creativity and a lot of patience.
R, K, A and Z, are the hardest letters to find while and C, I and O, were the easiest.
