Justin Bieber Gives Electric Performance atBillboard Music Awards – and Takes Home Top Male Artist
23/5/2016_ People.com / After an introduction from pal DJ Khaled, the "Love Yourself" singer, 22, hit up the 2016 Billboard music awards in Las Vegas to perform his hits "Company" and "Sorry," complete with a spectacular light show and crew of backup dancers. He then went on to win the top male artist award.
Since he released his single "Where Are Ü Now?" with Skrillex and Diplo, Bieber has been getting back in the public's favor after brushes with the law the past few years.
And while some recent strange behavior (getting a face tattoo, walking barefoot around Boston, sitting in a tree) and outbursts at fans on social media (canceling meet-and-greets, saying he's "done taking pictures") have left many wondering if he's heading toward another public meltdown, this week he simply "already feels beat" from his grueling tour schedule. Furthermore, Bieber's rep dismissed a report that his tour is in jeopardy, "He's totally fine."
While the recent antics have fueled headlines, Bieber has successfully navigated his comeback, taking home his first Grammy in February and nabbing three No. 1 singles off his Purpose album.
