The Arab world's largest drama production, it is a Bedouin epic that takes place in the desert at the beginning of the 18th century, and is based on the vision and poetry of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The series interweaves the fates of different people, united by love yet separated by war, and within their tales of union and separation, lie stories of lovers, heroes and thieves, who leave their imprint on the shifting sands. The narrated tale is an epic poem, going beyond the stories of old, presenting questions about love, equinity, loyalty, revenge and betrayal; questions that are the essence of drama, both in time and place. "Sera’a Ala Al Rimaal" is a television epic, that turns the cruelty of life into poetry while addressing the mysteries of nomadic life.
