Malika's Hotel

Looks at the only hotel in the Gaza strip, owned by Palestinian aristocrat Malika Shawa - an old girl of Cheltenham Ladies College - right next door to the refugee camp where the Palestinian intifada began. Its guests are mainly journalists, diplomats and fact-finding foreigners and the film looks at the position and style of life at the hotel.
