Heart of a Child

This emotionally charged documentary tells the courageous story of Amy, a little girl who over the course of one year endured two rare and difficult organ transplants: one to replace her heart and lungs, a second to replace the new lungs following an infection. In addition to dramatic operating-room footage of both these procedures, the film sensitively captures many of the most intimate moments in the lives of Amy and her parents.
