Running December 6-13, 2017, DIFF has established itself as a major international festival, while continuing to serve as a premier showcase event for Arab cinema, and contributing to the development and growth of the regional industry. Since its inception in 2004, DIFF has spearheaded the cinema movement in the region by introducing audiences to fresh and new talent and original, intelligent and distinctive filmmaking from the Arab world and beyond. Presenting more than 120 feature films, shorts and documentaries, from 60 countries around the world, this year’s DIFF continues to expand upon its dazzling assortment of big name and emerging films with a full lineup of films including Wajib, The Darkest Hour, Gentle Creature, Centaur, Le Bonbon, A Man of Integrity, The Song of Scorpions, Heaven Without People, In The Shadows, The Charmer, Zagaros, The Servants and many more
