'Avengers: Endgame' Trailer Breaks Record

Hollywoodreporter.com: Avengers: Endgame is already breaking records.

Disney announced on Saturday that the first trailer for the highly-anticipated Marvel installment broke the record for most views in 24 hours across its platforms.

"To the greatest fans in the world, thank you for being there from the beginning until the endgame and making this the most viewed trailer in history with 289M views in 24 hours!" Marvel Studios tweeted.

The previous record-holder was Avengers: Infinity War with 230 million views and in third was the upcoming Lion King teaser with 224.6 million views, according to Disney.

A little more than two minutes in length, the trailer was applauded by fans for giving away few details about the plot to the follow-up of Infinity War.

Avengers: Endgame will be released April 26, 2019.
