Armie Hammer To Star with Gal Gadot in 'Death on the Nile'

hollywoodreporter.comArmie Hammer will star opposite Gal Gadot in Kenneth Branagh's adaptation of Death on the Nile.

The Agatha Christie novel, first published in 1937, saw master detective Hercule Poirot on a vacation in Egypt and becoming involved in a love triangle gone murderously bad.

Branagh will return to direct the Murder on the Orient Express follow-up, which is being written by Michael Green.

Death on the Nile is eyeing a mid-2019 start date, with Fox already dating the movie for a Dec. 20, 2019, release.

Hammer, who is repped by WME and Sloane Offer, will next be seen in Focus Features' On the Basis of Sex.
