Roseanne Barr: Wake Up and Smell The Roses

It seems that the renowned actress Roseanne Barr, is still in turmoil after her racist tweet, in which she compared former Barack Obama’s advisor Valerie Jarrett, who is black, to an ape.

Although the tweet was deleted and Barr explained that she “mistakenly thought [Jarrett] was white”, it was not forgotten and has since cost Barr the cancellation of her ABC new reboot of the famous sitcom “Roseanne”, in which she stars as wife and mother.

Roseanne recently appeared in an interview and showed remorse and broke in tears saying “It’s really hard to say this, but I didn’t mean what they think I meant.” And added that she apologizes to anyone who thought, or felt offended and who thought that she meant something that she did not mean.

Then broke in tears and said “I never would have wittingly called any black person…a monkey.”

ABC has announced that a spinoff, which Barr will not be involved will be aired later.
