Avengers: Infinity War Continues To Dominate Box Office

mediaexpress.reuters.com: "Avengers: Infinity War" gave a superhero performance at the North American box office this weekend.

The latest Marvel movie remained in first place for a third straight weekend, bringing in nearly $62 million.

The film brings together the Avengers to fight supervillain Thanos, who is trying to collect Infinity stones to wipe out half the universe. Since its release, Infinity War has earned more than $500 million domestically... and $1.6 billion globally.

Melissa McCarthy's comedy "Life of the Party" took the second spot at the box office with $18.5 million. McCarthy plays a newly divorced woman who decides to enroll at the same college as her daughter.

Thriller "Breaking In" claimed third place, bringing in $16.5 million. The movie stars Gabrielle Union as a mother who takes her children on a weekend getaway that goes terribly wrong.
