Mark Wahlberg Is Forbes Highest Paid Actor

mediaexpress.reuters.com: Mark Wahlberg has been named by Forbes as the world's highest paid actor in Hollywood, making $68 million in 2017 for the films 'Daddy's Home 2' and 'Transformers: The Last Knight' as well as commercial endorsements.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was relegated to second place on the list with $65 million while his 'Furious 7' co-star Vin Diesel came in third with $54.5 million.

Coming in at number four is Adam Sandler, who secured a lucrative deal to produce movies for streaming outlet Netflix, while the number five place was awarded to Chinese megastar Jackie Chan, who took home $49 million for work within the Chinese film industry.

Also included in the list is Shah Rukh Khan, the highest paid actor in Bollywood, with $38 million.

Although he's been a mainstay on the list for years, Johnny Depp failed to make the top ten this year, but that wasn't the most surprising thing.

Emma Stone, who was announced as being the highest paid actress last week, earned $26 million to grab that title, which is nearly $10 million less than the tenth position of the male actors' list.
