Emilia Clarke certainly knows how to rock a red carpet

The Game of Thrones star arrived at the 2016 Emmys Sunday wearing a stunning Atelier Versace nude chainmail gown – but it was her adorable reveal that she still gets nervous when fans recognize her on the street that stole the show.

Of the very first time it happened, Clarke told E! News' Giuliana Rancic it "was really bizarre." "I always get just as flustered as everyone else – I don't quite know how to handle it," she admitted.

Clarke, 29, is nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen on GoT. The actress was previously nominated for the award in 2013 and 2015.

Of saying goodbye to the cult favorite HBO show, Clarke admitted it "will be really intense" but thankfully, "it's still a little ways away!"

And in the meantime, we can certainly expect to see more of Clarke – on the big and small screen – in the future. "Doing comedy, more of that would be wonderful," she gushed. "I would love it."
