Vice President Attends UAE Government Leaders Programme Graduation

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, honoured a new group of executive leadership graduates from the “UAE Government Leaders Programme”.

Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, was present. “Investing in people is the principle of the federation’s march since its establishment in 1971, and we continue to operate on this principle because the development of human capacity is the development of services, policies, laws and everything that serves the our society,” stressed Shaikh Mohammad.

Shaikh Mohammad made the statement during the graduation ceremony held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel here in Dubai. Shaikh Mohammad urged the graduates to continue working hard, and not become complacent with their professional designation and after successfully graduating from the programme.

“There are challenges that must be faced with more knowledge and determination,” said Shaikh Mohammad. “An individual must not be judged based on their work experience, but their achievements, because a government is not assessed by years of operation, they are assessed by their achievements.”

“Be confident, trust your employees, and make the work environment a challenging one that produces many achievements,”

Shaikh Mohammad said that leaders play a key role in building the future, and are a requirement for achieving the nation’s aspirations and strategic goals of UAE Vision 2021.
