Critically Acclaimed Musical set to enthrall Fans at Dubai Opera

26-5-2016 /Sir Cameron Mackintosh’s production of the acclaimed musical Les Miserables is to be staged at the new Dubai Opera in November. The show is to run from November 10 to 24, with tickets going on sale from May 26, a spokesperson for the art venue in Downtown Dubai revealed on Wednesday. The show will be the GCC debut of the world’s longest-running musical, which has been seen by more than 70 million people in 44 countries and 22 languages.

Construction of the Dubai Opera in Downtown Dubai is scheduled to complete this summer. It opens to the public on 31 August with an inaugural season line-up including Spanish tenor Plácido Domingo, sitar composer Anoushka Shankar, Rossini’s The Barber of Seville and Bizet’s The Pearl Fishers, among other shows.
