The Hunger Games Star Alan Ritchson Welcomes Third Child With His Wife

Congratulations are in order for Alan Ritchson!

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire star surprised fans Sunday afternoon when he announced the arrival of his third child with wife Catherine Ritchson.

"Most of you probably have no idea that I'm married and have two amazing little boys (Calem 3yrs and Edan 1.5yrs.)," he wrote on social media. "But today, the strongest person I know, @catritchson gave birth to our newest addition, Amory Tristan Ritchson. Say hello!" The handsome actor is seen grinning from ear to ear as he cradles his newborn baby straight in the hospital room.

"He weighs in at a cool 7lbs 12ozs and is only allowed to be a football player or a rapper," he joked. "Love you Amory. Say hi to a world in need of more joy, innocence and love, like you."

The special arrival comes one week after Catherine celebrated her hubby's birthday with the sweetest message. To say these two are in love would be more than a safe assumption.

"Happy birthday to this fun-loving, imaginative, brilliant, courageous, artistic, powerful force of a human being," she wrote online. "Words can't describe the gratitude I have for God placing you in my life more than 15 years ago."

In addition to taking care of his newborn, Alan's next big project is starring inTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. The highly anticipated sequel also starring Megan Fox and Stephen Amell is slated to hit theatres in June 2016.
