Jessica Alba takes daughter Haven to a birthday party

She's an actress and businesswoman in charge of a company valued at nearly one billion dollars.

But Jessica Alba put work aside for quality time with her three-year-old daughter Haven in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

The 34-year-old actress took her little girl to a birthday party as they coordinated in striped dresses.

The Sin City star carried a set of gifts wrapped in sparkling hot pink paper and tied with a blue ribbon.

She donned a long flowing blue and white button-down dress and beige slip-on shoes while Haven wore a pink and white peasant dress and silver sandals.

Jessica carried a white cross-body purse, concealed her eyes behind round shades with blue frames, and styled her hair in a sleek straight bob.

Not present on the outing was Jessica's husband Cash Warren and their other daughter, six-year-old Honor.

That day, Jessica Instagrammed an image of a couple very colourful towels spread out on the grass by a pool, writing: "Saturdayz."
