Kim Kardashian's Blonde Hair Inspired by a Pop Legend: Find Out Who!

Kim Kardashian West has the ultimate blonde ambition. The star reveals that her much talked about platinum hair was influenced by music icon — and famous blonde — Madonna!

“I’ve always had this image of Madonna with platinum hair in my references folder on my computer and I’ve been waiting a long time to try the look,” she said. “I thought what better time than right now for Paris Fashion Week.”

But Kim maintains the hair change (by celebrity colorist Lorri Goddard) wasn’t a planned event. “It was a really last minute decision,” she adds.

She was thinking of maybe trying out some fun-colored tresses before she made the decision to go platinum.

“I think it would be really fun to try that short turquoise hair that Kylie has,” she said. (Maybe, that’s next?)

Right now, Kim’s busy sitting front row at the biggest Paris Fashion Weekshows (in a number of head-turning outfits), styling her hair differently for each event — from slicked-back to wavy.
