Child Star: The Shirley Temple Story

Newcomer Ashley Rose Orr stars in this made for television biopic as Shirley Temple, one the biggest film stars of the 1930s whose fame came as a toddler and ended during her pre teen years. Based on her autobiography of the same name, CHILD STAR is the story of her rise to fame during the worst days of the Great Depression, and her inevitable fall from favor as she got older, leading Shirley to return to life of a normal child. Featuring a fine and endearing performance from Ms. Orr, CHILD STAR is a entertaining and satisfying look at the life of a young actress who was much more than a child star.
