A Business Affair

The beautiful Kate Swallow is married to a broke writer named Alec who pays no attention to her and smothers her creativity. Their lives change drastically after Kate meets a publisher named Vanni, who aggressively pursues her -- after signing Alec to a lucrative contract. Eventually Kate not only sleeps with Vanni, she leaves Alec for him. But after they're married, Vanni begins to stifle her artistic endeavors, just as Alec did. Will Kate stay with Vanni? Or leave? Will she return to Alec? Or will she decide to dump both egotists and go it alone?
