Jane Eyre

Charlotte Bronte's Gothic romance gets the BBC and Masterpiece Theater treatment in this two-part miniseries. Ruth Wilson plays the title role, one of the most beloved characters in classic fiction, thanks to her independence and intelligence. After a difficult childhood, Jane finds work as a governess at Thornfield Hall. There she meets and falls in love with its mysterious owner, Edward Rochester (Toby Stephens), though things aren't as simple as they seem.
